People dealing with people

Here at Ontranslation we manage and execute your multilingual projects (translation and interpreting), saving you not only the technical work, but also the planning, coordination and quality control.

What makes all of this work is a group of people committed to your goal. With warm, personal service, we give you the confidence and assurance that your projects are in the best possible hands.

Oscar Nogueras
Oscar NoguerasCEO - Business Development

OSCAR’s mission is to take the helm of Ontranslation to make sure it continues to optimise the relationship between “People” and “Knowledge”, as he intended from the outset. No one is better than him at creating networks of contacts that end up being friends. When he needs to rest, you may find him having a pintxo in Bilbao or in the Alpujarra region of Granada.

Marc Ortiz
Marc OrtizHead of Accounts Dept.

Marc is an expert in Public Relations and Advertising, so he uses all his talent to ensure that the client is always the centre of Ontranslation. As communicating is his strong suit, Marc manages our various information channelsHe also funnels all those skills into his greatest hobby: theatre.

Alex Mallo
Alex MalloHead of Project Management Dept.

Alex left Galicia, his homeland, and began a pilgrimage of literarure and translation studies across different European cities, after which he landed in Barcelona and hit upon Ontranslation. Thanks to his technical profile, Alex ensures the traceability and quality of our projects. He dreams of traveling around the world, but in the meanwhile, he is part of our crew.

Gerard Alarcón
Gerard AlarcónTranslator/Project Manager Jr.

Gerard has two passions: football and communication. Although it seems like he has better control over his tongue than his feet. It doesn’t matter though, since he is at Ontranslation because his linguistic and technical knowledge guarantees the quality of our projects in the language of Pompeu Fabra – not because of his football skills. When he isn’t here or trying to play football as well as he can, you might find him guiding tourist groups around Barcelona and sharing his experiences with them.

Arnaud Vigne
Arnaud VigneTranslator/Project Manager Jr.

Arnaud is the stamp collector of Ontranslation, and not just because he dedicates himself to it professionally, but because he enjoys travelling and learning about cultures so much that he accumulates more stamps than even the most compulsive collector. His knowledge of linguistics and translation perfectly complement his passion for culture, although that passion falls short of his love for Olympique de Marseille, Tarantino films and the scores of Ennio Morricone.

Dani Matilla
Dani MatillaAccount Manager Jr.

Dani has burst onto the scene in our sales department to do what he loves most: meet new people and listen to their stories. And he’s quite good at it. So good, in fact, that he even managed it in Nepal without speaking a word of Nepalese and while suffering from horrible altitude sickness. But this Madrid native with a Master in Discourse Studies doesn’t live for communication alone. He also loves going to the mountains once in a while to try his hand at climbing or slacklining. We’re not really into it but, knowing him, we’re sure he can even get on well with gravity.

Molly Dunphy
Molly DunphyTranslator/Project Manager Jr.

Molly is sometimes Willy, Willy Fogg. And we don’t think so because they both have a similar mane, but because she is passionate about travelling and learning about new cultures (although we’ll definitely have to have a chat about the 80 days…). The traveller Molly is just one of her sides, which is due to the ants in her pants, because, at Ontranslation’s technical department, she also shoots accurate translations into English at top speed and can maintain the ideal tempo of any song on stage (yes, she is also a musical actress).

Joana Camps
Joana CampsTranslator/Project Manager Jr.

Joana left Menorca to follow the samurai path of applied languages, but that life requires a lot of energy and from time to time she goes back home to fill her suitcase up with ensaimadas. We like that, because she brings us our corresponding tithe, but what we like best is how she ruthlessly translates everything into perfect Catalan. Aside from that, she also shows signs of humanity: she loves to travel, music and playing basketball. And we’re quite sure she can do everything at the same time.

To make sure you reach your goals, we have a wide network of specialists in different areas of knowledge and language pairs at your service.

At Ontranslation we comply with ISO Standard 9001:2008 for quality management in multilingual communication projects and our methodology allows us to adapt to the needs of each client, no matter how specific. Precisely because we are a mulitilingual communication agency, the success of our projects is based on communication, both with our clients and within our team. It is essential for us to understand the needs of our clients and collaborators. For that reason, we maintain a constant flow of communication between all parties. The client must know how their project is developed and our team must know what the client needs.

This value added of constant communication is supported by a powerful project-management system: our CRM. This platform automates a large part of the information related to each project, allowing us to make contact with both the client and our team members easier and faster with an automated alert system. Likewise, clients have their own profile on the platform, which they can use to request services, download the finished documents or manage invoices.

All of our projects must pass a final quality control screening carried out by our technical team before being delivered to the client. But that’s not all, in addition to monitoring technical quality we also follow up on the level of satisfaction of both the client and our team. This allows us to continue improving at all times and to adapt to the needs of those who work with us, whether clients or collaborators.

We are not the same, we are different from the rest

  • Because our multidisciplinary vision allows us to focus more on what you need than on what we do.

  •  Because we are an organisation open to all kinds of collaborations that feed a great working network where there are solutions for everything.

  •  Because we do not hide behind a big corporate logo, we do not renounce our origin as a start-up and we love talking to our customers.
