Ontranslation guarantees the protection and confidentiality of personal data, of any kind provided to us, in accordance with the provisions of the General Regulations for the Protection of Personal Data.

In compliance with the provisions of current legislation on data protection, and in the context of the new regulatory framework established under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council of 27th April 2016, regarding the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the freedom of movement of such data, and national regulations on the protection of personal data, we inform you that the personal data you provide us with will be processed by Ontranslation, with registered office in Berlin 4, 1-2, Office 08014, Barcelona.

You declare that the information and data you have provided to us is accurate and truthful, and Ontranslation reserves the right to exclude from the services those interested parties who have provided false information, without limiting the possibility of legal action. You shall be solely responsible for any false or inaccurate statements you make and for any damages this may cause to Ontranslation or any third party.

All data provided to Ontranslation or its staff, will be treated under the responsibility of Ontranslation. This data is essential to provide the services requested by users.

The data provided will be treated in accordance with the terms established in the General Regulations for the Protection of Personal Data. In this sense, Ontranslation has adopted the levels of protection that are legally required, and has installed all the technical measures at its disposal to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration or unauthorised access by third parties. However, the User must be aware that security measures on the Internet are not impregnable. In the event that the User considers it appropriate to transfer his or her personal data to other entities, he or she will be informed of the data transferred, the purpose of the processing and the name and address of the transferee, so that he or she may give his or her unequivocal consent in this regard.

How long will we store your data?

The personal data accessed by virtue of your relationship with Ontranslation will be processed for as long as it is necessary for the management of the informed purposes. In this sense, Ontranslation will keep the personal data once its relationship with you has ended, duly blocked, during the period of prescription of the actions that could derive from the relationship maintained with the interested party.

Once blocked, your data will be inaccessible to Ontranslation, and will not be processed by it, except for making it available to Public Administrations, Judges and Courts, for the attention of possible responsibilities arising from the processing, as well as for the exercise and defense of claims before the Spanish Agency of Data Protection.

Acceptance and consent

The User declares to have been informed of the conditions regarding the protection of personal data, accepting and consenting to the treatment of the same by Ontranslation in the manner and for the purposes indicated in this privacy policy.

The consent is revocable at any time by communicating to Ontranslation in the terms established in this policy for the exercise of the rights of the data subject. This revocation shall in no way be retroactive.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

Ontranslation reserves the right to modify this policy in order to adapt it to new legislation or case law.

What are your rights when you provide us with your personal data?

The User has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not Ontranslation processes personal data concerning him or her, as well as access to his or her personal data, request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

Under certain circumstances, the User may request the limitation of the processing of his/her data, in which case they will only be kept for the exercise or defence of claims.

Under certain circumstances and for reasons related to his or her particular situation, the User may oppose the processing of his or her data. Ontranslation will cease processing the data, except for compelling legitimate reasons, or the exercise or defence of possible claims.

Before which authority can you exercise your claims?

You may file a claim against Ontranslation so that we can satisfy your rights in this matter. In any case, you can always attend the Spanish Data Protection Agency at Jorge Juan street, no. 6, Madrid, as the supervisory authority for data protection.
